Judy Strength, 91, of Flomaton, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
Mrs. Strength was a native of Enterprise, Ala. who relocated to Pensacola and then to Flomaton, where she had lived for the past 24 years. A member of Escambia Baptist Church where she was involved serving others, she had worked as an independent financial agent for the real estate industry.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15, at Little Escambia Baptsit Church with Revs. Jonathan Hill and David Nicholes and Dr. Larry Patterson officiating. Burial followed at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery in Chumuckla, Fla. with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Strength is survived by two sons, Doug (Sue) Patterson of Cantonment, Fla. and Frank L. Smyer of Pace, Fla.; one daughter, Pam Patterson of Flomaton; two sisters, Evelyn Shepard of Mobile and Jan Hudson of Huntsville; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Strength was preceded in death by her husbands, James A. Patterson, Frank L. Smyer, II and Harold Strength; one daughter, Paula Smith; one grandchild; and other family members.
