Mildred Day Jones, 94, of Atmore, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Mrs. Jones was born Nov. 17, 1924 to John Bernard and Vera Dreadin Day in Covington County, Ala. She worked as manager of fabric at T.G. and Y. and was a supervisor at Vanity Fair Mills.

The funeral was held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, June 6, at Oak Hill Cemetery. Burial followed with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Jones is survived by two sons, David (Rita) Jones and Gerald (Emily) Jones, both of Atmore; one brother, Wendell (Diane) Day of California; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
