Charles Eugene Cooley, 66, of Brewton, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 following a brief illness.
Mr. Cooley was a native of Milton, Fla. and long time resident of Brewton, where he was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. A retired carpenter from the construction industry, he attended Pensacola High School and had served as a U.S. Army veteran.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, May 17, at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Dresen and Bro. James Meadows officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Cooley is survived by one son, Charles R. (Abbey) Cooley of Century, Fla.; two daughters, Charlene (James) Weeks of Baker, Fla. and Jennifer Scott of Crestview; one brother, Ronnie Cooley of Milton; one sister, Shirley Simmons of Brewton; and nine grandchildren.
