Elizabeth Knight, 73, of Boston, Mass., formerly of Atmore, died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Bingham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Mrs. Knight was a native of Monroe County in the Burnt Corn community who grew up in Atmore and graduated from Escambia County Training School. In 1983, she relocated to Boston, where she worked for more than 20 years with Massachusettes Bay Transportation Authority as a bus operator. A member of the 589 Carmen Union, she was also a seamstress, beautician and chef.
