Keith A. Germany, 51, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019.
Mr. Germany was born April 6, 1967 to Wanda Walker-Threatt in Detroit, Mich. Attending Highland PArk public schools and later transferring to Romulus Community High School, where he excelled as a student and participated in swimming and basketball, he worked many years with the Detroit Metropolitan Airport until he moved to Castleberry, Ala. He worked at T.R. Miller Mill Company and Guyoung Tech plant, until he later earned his CDL and began working as a truck driver and enjoyed coaching the Castleberry Little League football team.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, at the Church of the Living God in Castleberry with Elder Earl Sanders officiating. Burial followed at Second Marietta Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Germany is survived by his father, Dvane Threatt; four sisters, Kimberly Walker-Jones (Vershauna Jones-Walker) Keia Walker, Kayra (Carl) Donahoo and Kourtney Walker; and numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and other family members and friends.
Mr. Germany was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Walker-Threatt; four grandparents, Douglas and Annie Graham and Westley and Dicy Germany; and numerous other family members.
