James Lavon Roley, 78, of Atmore, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, in Atmore.
Mr. Roley was born Aug. 11, 1940, to Samuel and Bessie Godwin Roley in Atmore and attended Ernest Ward High School and later served in the Army National Guard. Owner and operator of James Roley Construction Company for more than 40 years, he attended Atmore First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed spending time at his hunting camp in Vredenburgh, Ala.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, at Atmore First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Keith Lisenby officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery in Brat...
