Esc. Co. (Ala.) Sherriff Deputy Terri Tolbert wasn't afraid to hold the king snake

The students of Flomaton Elementary School experienced a touch of the wild on Wednesday, Feb. 20, when Rick Rackstraw with Rick's Exotic Animals stopped to see them at the Flomaton High School old gym. Kindergarteners through sixth grade got to see what exotic kinds of animals live in the forests of South America.

This was Rackstraw's third visit to Flomaton and he has been bringing his exotic cast of animals to audiences for almost 25 years. Rackstraw got into the business of exotic anaxials at the request of his wife.

"My wife" he said, "was a teacher and she decided she wanted a monkey...
