Billy Charles Ballard, 73, of Castleberry, Ala., died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018.
Mr. Ballard was born in Castleberry and had been a lifetime member of the community where he worked as a fabricator in the window production industry. He was of the Holiness faith.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Harris officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery in Brewton with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Ballard is survived by his wife, Melissa Ballard of Appleton, Ala.; two daughters, Wanda B. Bordayo of Brewton and Annette (Farris) Kelley of Appleton; two brothers, Booby Ray Ballard of Castleberry and Mitchell Ballard of Repton, Ala.; six sisters, Ellen Wilcox, Judy Gray and Becky Davidson, all of Castleberry, and Myrna Bailey of Birmingham, Patricia Baggett of Repton, Ala. and Peggy Johnson of Belleville, Ala.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ballard was preceded in death by his parents, Mitt and Elvia Downing Ballard; one brother, Earl Ballard; one sister, Betty Rowell; and other extended family.
