Joann Morris, 54, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018.
Ms. Morris was born Nov. 15, 1964, to Aaron D., Sr. and Ivey Lee Kyser-Morris in Brewton, Ala. She attended Gateway to Heaven Pentecostal House of God.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Gateway to Heaven Pentecostal House of God. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Morris is survived by two sons, Nathan (Chanda) Morris of Brewton and Tobaris (Tywana) Morris of Gulfport, Miss.; eight brothers, Aundra Kyer, Caron Morris and moses Morris, all of South Carolina, Larry (Sara) Morris of New York, N.Y., Thurman Morris of Raleigh, N.C., Jerry (Lois) Morris and Gerald Morris of Wake Forest, N.C. and Michael (Lisa) Morris of Roxboro, N.C.; two sisters, Sondra Morris and Beverly Wilkerson of Youngsville, N.C.; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Ms. Morris was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Ivey Lee Morris; two brothers, Benny Morris and Aaron D. Morris, Sr.; and two sisters, Annie K. Hubbard and Barbara Ann Morris.
