Paul Ray Digmon, 80, of Atmore, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018.
Mr. Digmon was born March 19, 1938, to Jimmy and Maude Bowman Digmon in Atmore. Having served in the U.S. Army, he was a retired cabinet instructor from Jefferson Davis Community College in Atmore.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Butch Lee officiating. Burial followed at Serenity Gardens Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Digmon is survived by his wife, Laverne Byrd Digmon of Atmore; one daughter, Teena (George) Peavy of Lake City, Fla.; one sister, Sherry Digmon of Atmore; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
Mr. Digmon was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Digmon and Joe Digmon; and four sisters, Eula White, Lilly Foster, Dorothy Leroy and Gertrude Ahern.
