Bonnie Ruth Helton Maxwell, 90, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Maxwell was born Jan. 21, 1928, to Meredith Price and Grace Jarrett Helton in Rome, Ga. She graduated from Girls’ High School in Rome and began working as an office professional. In the mid 1960s, she began working as a personal secretary to administrator Billy Joe Griffin at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital.
