Everett Michael Wright, 55, of Gretna, La., died Saturday, June 23, 2018 in a Harvey, La. health care facility following an extended illness.
Mr. Wright was a native of Pensacola and former resident of both Mobile and Brewton before he relocated to Louisiana three years ago. A laborer in the construction industry and a former paratrooper in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne, he was of the Christian faith.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 25, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Scurlock officiating. Burial followed at Catawba Springs Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Wright is survived by one son, Michael Craig of Sanford, N.C.; his parents, Sam and Doris Parker Wright of Brewton; one sister, Felicia (Jeff) Scurlock of Brewton; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
