Sara JoAn Nix, 84, died Saturday, June 9, 2018 in Atmore.
Mrs. Nix was born January 18, 1934 to Richard Lee and Alyne Murphy Barnes, Sr. in Roberts, Ala. Retired from First National Bank of Atmore with 42 years of service as a loan officer, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 16, at First Baptist Church of Atmore with Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
