Donald Ray Marshall, 57, died Monday, May 28, 2018.
Mr. Marshall was born September 19, 1960, to Jimmy Lindsey of Atmore and Ernestine Marshall-Pryear of Walnut Hill in Walnut Hill. A 1978 graduate of Ernest Ward High School, he united with his wife, Shirley Lyles, in 2001 and he relocated to Atmore.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 9, at Promised Land Outreach Ministry with Pastors Wayne Marshall, Sr. and Connie Marshall officiating. Burial followed at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Marshall is survived by wife; two sons, Christopher 'Bandit” Dortch and Vonsha “Rockie” Marshall; his mother, Ernestine Marshall (James) Pryear; four brothers, Wayne (Connie) Marshall, Rod (Dorothy) Pryear, Marvin (Joyce) Marshall and Windrick Mickens; six sisters, Beverly Richardson, Yolanda Gayle Longmire, Sylvia Jordan, Stephanie Lindsey, Laquanna (Robert) Montgomery and Lashana (James) Wilson; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Lorenzo Marshall and Jimmy Lindsey; and two sisters, Celia Davis and Sheila Lindsey.
