While investigating a Brewton man on a sexual notification act violation investigators discovered he had possibly committed another sexual abuse crime that resulted his is arrest.
Shawn Michael Evanuk, 45, was charged with sexual abuse I. During a bond hearing Tuesday afternoon, District Judge Jeff White set bond at $500,000.
Evanuk apparently moved from Covington County to Escambia County and began living at 3994 Old Castleberry Road, Lot 7.
