Sherry Kay Kyles. 57, of Atmore, died Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Mrs. Kyles was a native of Atmore and 1979 graduate of Escambia County High School. Graduating from Reid State Technical College in Child Care Development, she worked in corrections at Loxley Work Release and as an inspector with Spectrum Results. She was a member of Jones Street Holiness Church where she served as head of the Nurse's Guild.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 20, at Empowerment Tablernacle Christian Center with Prophet Shawn Williams officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
Mrs. Kyles is survived by one son, Eddie (Katrina Willis) Kyles, Jr. of Atmore; one brother, Gordon McKenzie of Atmore; six sisters, Sharon Diane McKenzie, Betty McKinzie and Anne Lyons, all of Atmore; Joyce Abner of Fort Walter Beach; Sharon Dale of Detroit, Mich. and Risa Brooks of Montgomery; one grandchild; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and other family.
Mrs. Kyles was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Daisy Craft McKenzie; and numerous other family members.
