James Harold Strength, Sr., 86, died Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Mr. Strength was born April 16, 1931 to Radford William and Lillie Mae Strength. Following graduation from Flomaton High School, he enlisted in the Air Force, leaving his family's one-mule, two-acre farm, and spent a tour in Europe serving in Communications Operations. Upon home return, he attended a trade school while he worked in Nashville, Tenn.
