Jimmy Darin Cunningham, Sr., 51, of Atmore, died Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Mr. Cunningham was a native of Atmore and 1985 graduate of Escambia County High School who served in the U.S. Army or three years, receiving the rank of SPC4. He later worked for Alto Corporation, where he was still employed.
A memorial service was held at 12 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at Longmire-Jones Memorial Chapel of Turner Funeral Chapel with Min. Betty Cox officiating and Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
Mr. Cunningham is survived by former wives, Cassandra E. Cunningham of Atmore and June Cunningham of Bay Minette, Ala.; one son, Jimmy Darin Cunningham, Jr. of Atmore; one daughter, Jimmekia (Michael) Weaver of Atmore; three brothers, Paul, Jr. (Kim) Cunningham of Atmore, John D. (Diane) Cunningham of Long Island, N.Y. and Kenneth R. Cunningham of Detroit; one sister, Mary Bell of New York, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, counsins and other family members.
Mr. Cunningham was preceded in death by three infant children; and his parents, Paul, Sr. and Lillie Mae Cunningham.
