Rose Helen King, 79, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018.
Mrs. King was born Nov. 4, 1938, to Sam Hicks and Gladys Lucille Sog Hicks in Century. Employed by the Escambia Council on Aging in Pensacola for 32 years, she received the board of director appreciation award in June 2000 in the Homemaker services. She was a member of New Calvary Temple Church.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, at New Calvary Temple Church with Pastor Nancy Riley officiating. Burial followed at Century Cemetery with Jackson-McMurray Funeral Services directing.
