Robert Dieter “Red” Bartlett, 50, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 in Brewton.
Mr. Barlett was born in Manheim, Germany and had previously lived in South Carolina and Georgia prior to moving to Brewton. A member of the 1985 class of Repton High School, he worked as a millwright for T.R. Miller Mill Company and was of the Christian faith. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Sister Barbara Green officiating. Burial followed at Springhill Cemetery in Lenox, Ala. with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Barlett is survived by his wife, Shelly Bartlett of Brewton; two sons, Daniel Cory (Shannon) Bartlett of Fountain Inn, S.C. and Robert Cody Bartlett of Brewton; his parents, Robert and Ursula Bartlett of Hinesville, Ga.; two brothers, Michael Bartlett of Savannah, Ga. and James Bartlett of Hinesville; one sister, Michelle O'Steen of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one grandchild.
