Clarlisa providing a free meal Christmas day at the L House
Carlisa is back to spread the Christmas Spirit with another free meal for the community.
Carlisa Thomas-McMillan is offering another free Christmas dinner this year from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Christmas day at the L-House in Brewton.
There will be a smoked pork roast, cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, rolls, a beverage and a dessert to follow.
“All are welcome,” said McMillan. “We want to feed the community. People suffer from food shortages all the time and on Christmas we want to make sure that doesn't happen. It's a chance for people to come together and spread the Christmas spirit.”
This will be the seventh year McMillan has served a Christmas dinner in the greater Brewton community.
