    Zachary Hunter White, son of Chris and Brandy White of Flomaton, has been named the winner of this year’s Solon Lee Gandy Memorial Scholarship. With a grade point average of 3.0 at Flomaton High School, White has played several years of baseball and football.     The American Red Cross will be in Atmore from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, June 7, at Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union located at 201 S. Main Street. The Red Cross is counting on volunteer donors to give blood and help ensure patient needs can be met this summer. Around Memorial Day, the Red Cross sees a steep decline in blood donations.
