Delores Ann Brown, 60, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
Mrs. Brown was born April 19, 1957 to Anderson and Elizabeth Mitchell Williams. A 1975 graduate of Escambia County High School, she worked at Jefferson Smurfit Mill in Brewton and retired with 30 years of service.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, at Gaines Chapel AME Church with Dr. Audrey McAroy officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home of Atmore directing.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Wade Brown; one son, Marcus Williams; one daughter, Nefertiti Rodgers; three brothers, Wallace (Shirley) Longmire, Woodrow (Doriena) Longmire and Sammy America; four sisters, Alice Sanders, Vernell America, Fonda Poellnitz and Maggie McMillian; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
