Hazel Beasley, 85, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018.
Mrs. Beasley as born Sept. 3, 1932 the first child of H.W. Wise and Agnes Polk in Jay, Fla. and enjoyed several hobbies, including gardening. She was a friend to all who knew her.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, at Jay Cornerstone Church with Pastor Frederick Barrow officiating. Burial followed at Cora Baptist Church Cemetery with Jay Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Beasley is survived by her husband, Mack Beasley; one son, Bobby (Vicki) Harrison; one daughter, Sherry (Ernie) Tetter; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Harrison; her parents; one brother, Earl Polk; and other family members.
