In a vote of 6 to 1, the Escambia County (Ala.) Board of Education approved candidate Avery Ford as the school system’s new CSFO (Chief School Financial Officer). Ford was one of two candidates who applied. The other was Carrie Moore, who currently works as Flomaton’s town clerk.
Interviews were held with both candidates last Thursday afternoon at Flomaton High School auditorium.
