Christopher Michael Rowland, 39, 500 South Pensacola Ave., was arrested by officers with the Atmore Police Department and transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton. At the time of his arrest he was out on $25,000 bond on the 2019 charge.
According to reports from the Atmore Police Department, police interviewed a Southern Tire Mart corporate security investigator in reference to Rowland, a former employee. Court records also state Rowland admitted taking the deposits when questioned by the business' manager.
Rowland's original $25,000 bond was revoked Wednesday afternoon and he was transported back to the detention center.
