The Flomaton Town Council postponed any action on placing a speed bump or rumble strips on College Street from the three-way stop at the intersection of Wilkerson Street and the four-way stop at the intersection of Ringold Street.

Doug Vickery, who lives on College, had previously approached the council about putting up a speed bump, telling council members drivers speed and run through the stop signs at Wilkerson Street. He pointed out that the stretch of road runs behind Flomaton Elementary School and students cross College to go to the practice field across the street.
