Board moves Brown to the central office

FHS principal now assistant superintendent; new principal scheduled to be named July 18

After discussing his name behind closed doors to discuss his good name and character, the Escambia County School Board unanimously voted last Thursday to name Flomaton High School Principal George Brown as the new assistant superintendent.

Brown spent three years as the principal of Flomaton Elementary School before becoming the high school principal for the 2021-22 school year.
