Three challengers in school board, commission races, others unopposed; Golden qualifies for sheriff’s race
The deadline to qualify for the May 24 Democrat and Republican primary elections is 5 p.m. Friday and as of Wednesday morning there will be two contested races for the Republican nomination in Escambia County, Ala.
In the Republican race for county commission District 3 seat, incumbent Scottie Stewart, Billy Blair and Larry White have entered the race.
In the county school board District 4 Republican race, incumbent Cindy Jackson, John Brantley and Rachel Wagner have qualified.
