Woman comes to PD with meth

Belden shows up at Flomaton police department for interview; police find meth in purse

A Flomaton woman who came to the Flomaton Police Department Nov. 9 to make a statement concerning an incident that happened the day before was charged with Domestic Violence II-criminal mischief on the original complaint and then charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance after officers found methamphetamine inside her purse while she was at the police department.

Kaylene A. Belden, 35, no address given, was arrested and transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton. She was later given a $15,000 bond.
