Flomaton council ratifies paving plan

The Flomaton Town Council gave its stamp of approval on a deal inked by Mayor Dewey Bondurant, Jr., to pave west of Railroad and College streets at a savings to the town.
Bondurant said Escambia County Engineer Bill Bridges called him about two weeks ago to say the county was going to pave Old Atmore Road all the way to Highway 31. He also said the railroad would also be doing paving.
