Flomaton's pre-season football game scheduled for this Friday night will be held but with a different opponent after a COVID-19 outbreak at Geneva County forced the Bulldogs to cancel their trip to Flomaton to take on the Hurricanes.
Flomaton head football coach Doug Vickery received the word Tuesday of the cancellation and said he reached out to a friend who is on the coaching staff at St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope. The Cardinals will now travel to Flomaton for a 7 p.m. kickoff this Friday. Tickets at the gate for people first grade and up will be $6.
