An Atmore man who was arrested Saturday for an outstanding warrant in Alabama now faces a felony drug possession in Florida, after a deputy discovered methamphetamine inside his patrol vehicle.
Bruce Edward Day, 53, of Atmore, was at a gas station in Atmore when an Escambia County (Fla.) law enforcement officer recognized Day and knew he had an outstanding warrant for possession of a weapon in Alabama, according to an Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office report.
