Vera Simmons, 87, of Brewton, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020.
Mrs. Simmons was born Nov. 15, 1933, in Jay, Fla. Of the Baptist faith, she had worked as a seamstress for Vanity Fair for a number of years.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 21, at Cora Cemetery in Jay. Burial followed with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Simmons is survived by two sons, Donald (Penny) Simmons of Brewton and Bobby (Joe) Simmons of Jay; one sister, Bonnie Parish of Ocala, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
