Donald Wayne Gunn, 62, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020, in Montgomery, Ala.
Mr. Gunn was a native of Atmore, Ala., who grew up in Flomaton, resided in Atlanta, Ga., then relocated back to Flomaton 10 years ago. A 1976 graduate of Flomaton High School, he was owner and operator of an over the road trucking company and drove for Holox Trucking Company. He attended Lambeth-Boutwell Holiness Church.
The funeral was held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 9, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Boutwell and Bro. Josh Pope officiating. Burial followed at Lambeth-Boutwell Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Gunn is survived by his father, Ben (Donna) Gunn of Flomaton; two brothers, Kenny (Latecia) Gunn of Brewton and Herbert (Tish) Rabren of Auburn; two sisters, Debbie (Mike) Dawson of Flomaton and Brenda (Roger) Turner of Semmes, Ala.; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
Mr. Gunn was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Moye Gunn; one brother, Walter E. Gunn; four grandparents, Ellis and Ola Moye and Walter and Emma Gunn; and numerous uncles and aunts.
