Will continue to represent district on board; commission to tap new chairman Monday
Escambia County (Ala.) Commission Chairman Karean Reynolds announced that he will be resigning the chairmanship effective Aug. 9, but will remain on the commission as the District 5 representative.
"I would like to thank my fellow commissioners for placing their trust in my ability to lead the commission," Reynolds posted on his Facebook page. "This resignation weighs heavy on my heart as serving the citizens of our county remains one of my main priorities."
