New faces at DW McMillan

D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital announced that Aleigh Taylor, CRNP and Natalie Young, CRNP, have both joined the staff of the D.W. McMillan Medical Center. They will begin seeing patients beginning in August 2020.

“We are very fortunate not only to be adding one, but two nurse practitioners to the D.W. McMillan Medical Center,” stated Rick Owens, hospital administrator. “We continue to draw closer to the clinic opening and our provider group has come together to form an outstanding team. Both Natalie and Aleigh will provide much needed support and service to our community.”

Aleigh Taylor has been an RN at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital, Soliant Healthcare in Montgomery, Ala., Aya Healthcare in Pocatello, Idaho and The University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. Aleigh has also served as an adjunct clinical instructor for Coastal Alabama Community College. She has a Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of South Alabama. She also graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Natalie Young has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Maria Villareal since July of 2019. Prior to that, Young worked as an RN for Baptist Heart and Vascular Institute in Pensacola, Fla. and at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital. Young has a Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Prior to joining D. W. McMillan Medical Center, Natalie works as a CRNP with Brewton Medical Center.

The D.W. McMillan Medical Center will open the first week of August, 2020. Patient scheduling and appointment information will be shared as soon as possible.
