Terry Desmond Linam, 55, died Wednesday, July 15, 2020, in a Pensacola hospital.
Mr. Linam was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore. A member of Brooks Memorial Baptist Church, he was owner and operator of Snappy Car Wash and Linam's Electric.
The funeral was held at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 18, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Dale Patterson officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Linam is survived by two sons, Ryan Linam and Nolon Linam, both of Atmore; two daughters, Gabby Linam of Atmore and Claire Linam (Dalton Tolbert) of Uriah, Ala.; his mother, Barbara Helton of Atmore; four brothers, Alan Helton and Roger (Beverly) Helton, both of Atmore, Osborn (Kathy) Linam of Spanish Fort and George Linam of Columbia, Tenn.; four sisters, Linda (Billy) Farr and Dawn (Tim) Turner, both of Atmore, Cindy Linam of Spanish Fort and Sonja (Mark) Crowel of Daphne, Ala.; one grandchild; numerous nephews and nieces; and numerous other family members and friends.
Mr. Linam was preceded in death by his father, Yuell Linam; two grandparents, Hubert and Laverta Rounsaville; and numerous other family members and friends.
