Councils eyes cameras

Flomaton Councilwoman Lillian Dean said vandalism at Oaks Common Park on Martin Luther King is a serious problem and asks her fellow council members to help fix the things broken and put up security cameras.

Utilities Superintendent Shaun Moye said the sink was ripped off the wall in the bathroom, paper bags were flushed down the toilet and the sign was damaged. He said it forced him to close bathroom.

Councilman Buster Crapps said he'd like to see a cost estimate on making the repairs and installing the cameras. He said the council could look at it at the next meeting.
