Robert Ray Stewart, 65, died Friday, June 26, 2020, in Mobile.
Mr. Stewart was a native of Bay Minette, Ala. who resided in the Rabun, Perdido area for most of his life. Retired from the Alabama Road Department with 30 years of service, he enjoyed being outdoors.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Don Sanks and Bro. Michael Hadley officiating. Burial followed at the Hall's Fork Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Stewart is survived by one son, Casey (Lacey) Stewart of Bay Minette; one daughter, Darla (Bradley) Lawley of Bay Minette; three brothers, Charles (Linda) Stewart of Mt. Vernon, Ala. and Freddie (Sandy) Stewart and William Stewart, both of Perdido; five grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Foster Stewart; his parents, John R. “Shorty” and Muriel Brown Stewart; one sister, Ruby Stewart Davis; and numerous other family members.
