Billy G. Ward, 95, of Walnut Hill, Fla., died Monday, May 18, 2020.

Mr. Ward was born Sept. 4, 1924, to Horace H. and Minnie Lou Morgan Ward in Walnut Hill. A U.S. Army World War II veteran, he graduated from Ernest Ward High School and the University of Florida College of Law. A retired Escambia County, Florida Judge with more than 32 years of service and former member of the Escambia County, Florida bar Association, he was the last remaining charter member of the Walnut Hill Ruritan Club and was a lifelong member of the Walnut Hill Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many year...
