Will develop strategies for D.W. McMillan
D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton has announced that Stacy Hines has been named as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Hines will be responsible to develop short and long-term strategies and tactics to assure operational excellence, management and control for the hospital and related entities. This will include development of new business lines of service to drive growth and provide oversight to ensure the hospital continues to progress in alignment with the strategic plan.
"Initially, Stacy will be responsible as project lead for the opening of the D.W. McMillan Medical Center," stated Rick Owens, hospital administrator. "She will continue to direct planned renovation and construction projects and be the program director of the 340B pharmacy program. As Stacy transitions fully into her new role, she will assume overall responsibility for many of the hospital's non-clinical support departments."
Hines joined DWM in 2010, serving as the clinic director of the Flomaton Medical Center. She was promoted to Business Office and Physician Clinics Director in 2016 with responsibility for the revenue cycle process for DWM and the management of the hospital's two clinics owned and operated by DWM. Hines was promoted in February, 2019,to Director of Revenue Cycle for the Escambia County Healthcare Authority.
Prior to joining DWM, Hines was employed with Integrated MD Solutions, Inc., a medical services organization based out of Baldwin County, where she served as a Credentialing & Project Specialist supporting approximately 30 private practice physicians. She is a 2005 graduate of Auburn University.
