Jackie Lorinda McGhee Smith, 72, of Poarch, Ala., died Friday, April 24, 2020.
Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Escambia County High School and member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. She had retired from Masland Carpets with more than 30 years of service.
A private graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, April30, at Judson Cemetery with Rev. Ray Ward officiating. Burial will follow with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Smith is survived by three daughters, Denise (Phillip) Young of Stockton, Ala., Rosalind (Jamie) Smith and Amber (Alex) Alvarez, both of Flomaton; three brothers, Allen (Charlotte) McGhee, Douglas Daughtry and Buddy (Janice) McGhee; ssix sisters, Charlotte (Martin) Meckel, Marsha (Don) Jackson, Julie (Gary) Trump, Chrissie (Leonard) Duke, Robin Feasby and Barbara (Terry) House; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Julius “Jack” McGhee and Ernestine (D.C.) Daughtry; one brother, Edward Gibson; and one grandchild.
