John David Godfrey, Sr., 61, of Jay, Fla., died Tuesday, April 14, 2020, in a Pensacola healthcare facility.
Mr. Godfrey was born July 7, 1958, to Richard and Muriel Godfrey in Century. Of the Protestant faith, he was employed as a supervisor in the oilfield industry.
Mr. Godfrey is survived by his wife, Theresa Godfrey of Jay; his father, Richard Godfrey of Jay; four sons, J.D. Godfrey, Eric Godfrey, Bo Godfrey and Matthew Godfrey; one daughter, Brandy Godfrey of Louisiana; two brothers, Christopher Godfrey and Richard Godfrey, Jr., both of California; and two grandchildren.
