Maxine Lisenby Butts, 71, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at the Brewton hospital.
Mrs. Butts was born Feb. 27, 1949, to Marvin and Iva Lee Simmons Lisenby in the Barnett Crossroads community. A resident of Brewton for the past 52 years, she retired as the Chief Clerk in the Escambia County Probate Judge's office. She taught Sunday School fro more than 20 years at First Open Bible Church and was a member of Flomaton Freewill Baptist Church who enjoyed the outdoors.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 11, at Canaan Cemetery with Rev. Waylon Stuckey officiating.
