Billie Wayne Jordan, 72, of Wing, Ala., died Monday, March 30, 2020 following a brief illness.
Mr. Jordan was born Aug. 18, 1947, and was a former resident of Blackmon, Fla. and longtime resident of Wing. A member of the Golan Assembly of God Church, he attended the Escambia County Farms School and W.S. Neal High School, and retired as a heavy equipment operator from Okaloosa County, Fla.
A private family funeral was held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 3, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Sowell officiating. Burial followed at Elim Cemetery in the Roberts community of Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Ryals Jordan; two sons, Frankie (Christine) Jordan and Lee (Tommie) Jordan, both of Bradley, Ala.; two daughters, Tammy Steele of Wing and Casey (James) Hooker of Baker, Fla.; one brother, Roger (Teresa) Jordan of Brewton; one sister, Betty (Kenneth Ray) Hoomes of Damascus, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
