Alexandra DeShay Owens Maye, 26, died Sunday, April 5, 2020.

Mrs. Maye was born Sept. 28, 1993, to James Owens and Katina Riley in Atmore, Ala. A 2012 graduate of Escambia County High School, she had attended Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette and was CEO and founder of brighter Future Solutions. She was awarded the Pinnacle Award of Courage at the 2019 Grind Awards Ceremony in Mobile.
