Alabama county dealing with coronavirus
The Escambia County (Ala.) Health Care Authority announced Tuesday that there have been three confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Escambia County with no deaths reported.
Jason Daniels, director of public affairs and marketing, said the health care authority will release COVID-19 updates each Tuesday and Friday.
The report, as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, stated the three confirmed cases in Escambia County came from 84 specimens collected. Across Alabama there have been 2,168 confirmed cases out of 14,765 tested with 39 confirmed deaths.
