Local elections follow state trend

This past Tuesday, March 17, registered voters in the Century and Jay areas as well as the rest of Florida turned out to vote on who they want to run for president, following a trend in Florida of voting for Trump and Biden.
Escambia County
In the town of Century, Precinct 22, 156 registered voters out of a total of 1002 went to the polls, with 272, or a 27.15 percent voter turnout. Trump received 41 out of 43 votes and Biden received 97 and Sanders got 12 out of 113 votes at the polling office.
