Escambia County (Ala.) Huxford Elementary School will receive one of 98 Alabama Power Foundation Classroom grants awarded to elementary, middle and high schools across the state of Alabama to support learning initiatives. The funds will provide teachers up to $1,000 to purchase materials and supplies that can be used to improve the classroom environment and enhance student's abilities to learn.
